The Geyser Enterprise Development Group combats unemployment and encourages economical growth with its ability to develop as well as support entrepreneurship.
The group was established in 2015 with the vision of creating business opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Our mission is to assist with local economical growth in the areas we operate, educate and grow entrepreneurs as well as have a positive effect on the unemployment challenges currently plaguing South Africa.
The company as a group currently employs 47 people, supports approximately 30 suppliers and serves 14 major clients both domestic and internationally.
Thus far the company has successfully established companies in the environmental product and services sector, online gaming, accounting and mining industries.
Current companies developed by the GEDGroup include Eco-Con, Eco-Con Namibia, Luhlaza Waste Management, Sixth Sense Online, CoreDeep Blasting Accessories and DG&L Tax & Accounting Specialists. These companies now services clients beyond the borders of South Africa in that Eco-Con Namibia was registered early in 2019 although exports have been done since 2017.
Luhlaza Waste Management started exporting its first self-manufactured products to Kenya as well as Namibia in 2018. As a result of some of the companies manufacturing its own products, they are able to provide unique and highly specialised products as well as solutions to their clients. This also significantly contributes to our mission to employ from our local communities in that product is not ordered in but created in a local production facility.
